If you are comparing three quotes for vape cartridge, compare the paperwork first. Test reports, artwork files, batch coding and the replacement clause tell you more about a supplier than the unit price on page one.
Returns are handled as data, not as complaints. Every reported failure is logged by mode and by batch, and the pattern is reviewed monthly with the factory.
For private label accounts we hold the artwork files and the approval record. Rebranding a line eighteen months later is then a file update instead of a redesign.
What your market will ask for
Advertising rules are stricter than product rules in most markets. Claims about cessation, health or comparative performance should stay off packaging and off your product pages unless your legal team has signed them off.
Labels are where good orders go wrong. Nicotine warnings, child-resistant closures, batch coding and market-specific text all have to be correct before the pallet leaves. How the price is actually built
Freight is quoted separately and honestly. Bundling it into the unit price looks tidy and hides the one line that changes most often between shipments.
We publish a realistic band of 1.75 to 5.44 per unit for standard configurations at 500 units. Below that band you are buying a lighter specification; above it you are paying for finish, packaging or a smaller run.

Quality control, in plain terms
Battery safety is not a marketing line. Cells are matched by capacity and internal resistance before assembly, charging boards are checked for cut-off voltage, and any unit that fails the cut-off test never reaches packing.
A 0.5 percent defect rate sounds excellent until it lands on a 600 unit order and you are handling three returns in a week. We quote realistic rates per category and we credit in advance for the known failure modes.
